Sinopse

Makoto Konno, uma adolescente que mora em Tóquio, adquire o poder de voltar no tempo, depois de se envolver num acidente num cruzamento de trem, a caminho da escola.
Em princípio um pouco confusa com seus novos poderes, Makoto acaba aproveitando os mesmos para coisas triviais como evitar chegar tarde na escola e conseguir boas notas. No entanto, as coisas começam a ficar complicadas quando ela descobre que suas ações podem ter consequencias negativas para os outros. Ela pede ajuda a sua tia, que parece ter vivido experiência semelhante no passado.

La Traversée du Temps, Toki o Kakeru Shōjo, ou TokiKake é mais uma animação japonesa inédita no Brasil, e que vale a pena ser procurada nos sites de download. O filme é produzido pelo estúdio Madhouse e distribuído pela Kadokawa Herald Pictures, estreiou no Japão em Julho de 2006, e foi lançado em DVD em 2007.

Na mesma linha das animações delicadas e de personagens cativantes do mestre (A Viagem de Chihiro), TokiKake é uma festa para os olhos. Se fosse só pela paisagem, já valia a pena assistir. A personagem principal, Makoto, é uma graça - divertida, atrapalhada, romântica. E é com grande prazer que acompanhamos seu amadurecimento ao longo de suas desventuras como viajante do tempo.

12th Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival

The 12th Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival (SICAF), the biggest annual event of its kind in Asia. SICAF, launched in 1995, has received formal recognition as an animation event from the Association International Du Film d'Animation in 2005.

Bringing together fans of animation films and an exhibition of cartoon work, the festival, which is to be held from May 21 to 25, will feature 137 animations from 30 countries, the most in the history of the annual event.


The animation lovers will be able to enjoy high-quality full-length features and shorts from around the world this year.

The films will be screened at Lotte Cinema near Konkuk University.
The finalists this year include award-winning animations such as The Peace Sister from Britain, Ark from Poland and Canada's Madam Tutli-Putli.

Dragon Ball Z, The Movie

HK director/actor Stephen Chow (Kung Fu Hustler) is producing the film version of the japanese mangá by Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball Z. James Wong is the director and screenwriter.

The cast includes actress Jamie Chung (Chi Chi), and actors Justin Chatwin (as Goku) and James Marsters (as Piccolo), Erico Tamura (May), Joon Park (Yamcha), Emmy Rossum (actress from movie Poseidon).

Fox will launch the movie at august 15, 2008.

"Speed Racer" starts shooting in Germany

Director brothers, Larry and Andy Wachowski (Matrix trilogy) have started filming Hollywood live-action blockbuster "Speed Racer” - (to be released in May 2008).
Called "Mach Go Go" in Japan, was produced and created by Tatsuo Yoshida and released worldwide in 1967–1968.

"Speed Racer was the story of Speed, an 18 year old racing driver and his adventures on and off the track. On his helmet was printed M, originally standing for "Go Mifune" his original Japanese name. His girlfriend was Trixie, his younger brother Spritle, and Spritle's pet monkey was named Chim Chim. Speed's mechanic and best friend was Sparky. Speed's older brother was Rex, who also played Racer X- a masked racer with even Speed not knowing his real identity, and was an undercover agent. He had left home years ago and none of his family had seen him since.

Speed's car was known as the Mach 5. It was designed and built by his father "Pops" and was equipped with incredible features, operated by 7 buttons on the steering wheel."

The Cast


The film stars Emile Hirsch in the leading role of Speed, with Christina Ricci as his girlfriend, Susan Sarandon and John Goodman as Speed´s parents.

“Lost” star Matthew Fox is the Racer X.

Korean singer/actor Rain (Jeong Ji-hoon) will play a rival driver, and chinese actress Yu Nan ("Tuya's Marriage") will be his sister.
